“The study also showed increases in “psychopathic deviation,” which is loosely related to psychopathic behavior in a much milder form and is defined as having trouble with authority and feeling as though the rules don’t apply to you.” I believe that the current crisis in american education is just a symptom of a larger epistemic pathology.

Sadly, when you link teacher pay to student performance, then the best performing students get access to the best teachers. The irony being that the students who need dynamic, excellent teachers the most become the people with the least access to them. Wont the ACLU have a problem with that?

Cell phone exposure may protect against and... →
Studies linking brain cancer seem to go back and forth over whether cell phone use is a significant factor or not. This is the first paper I’ve found linking Alzheimer’s and cell phone use - that microwaves can be so powerful when used at such a low level isn’t surprising when you add up all the hours.
